Dear Family, Friends, and Community Supporters,

The Les Mères et Débutantes Club of Greater Lansing, founded in 1962, is a premier mother-daughter organization dedicated to developing strong character, academic excellence, and poise in young women. My mother and I are truly grateful for your continued encouragement, prayers, and support as I prepare to step into this next chapter of my life.

We invite you to join us at the 61st Annual Cotillion Ball as I am formally presented as a 2026 Debutante under the luminous theme “Crowned with Grace: Elegance in Starlight.” This celebration reflects not only grace and elegance, but also a journey of academic excellence, community service, and personal growth.

Over the past two years, I have had the honor of serving as the 2026 Grade Level President, an experience that sharpened my communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills. I have been actively engaged in the Lansing community, contributing over 1,000 hours of service to organizations and events including:

  • Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Luncheons

  • AKA “Something to Brunch About” Event

  • Detroit Black College Expo

  • Souper Bowl of Caring

  • American Red Cross “Sound the Alarm” Campaign

  • LMTS Mobile Food Pantry & Greater Lansing Food Bank

  • American Heart Association

  • March of Dimes

  • Hot Cider 5K Run

  • Annual Crop Walk

  • Miles for Smiles

  • Walk for Christ Community Festival

In addition to my community service, I have remained committed to academic excellence at East Lansing High School while participating in the Early College program. I am an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Greater Lansing Chapter, the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) through the Capital Region Community Foundation, and of course, the Les Mères et Débutantes Club of Greater Lansing.

I am honored to be a member of the National Honor Society, a Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence recipient, and hold certifications in OSHA and CPR through the American Heart Association. My passion lies in healthcare, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Health Foundations, with the dream of attending Howard University and ultimately becoming a neurosurgeon.

Outside of academics and service, I am a proud violinist, vocalist, and track and field athlete, having competed in shot put and discus.

Your presence or support—whether by attending, purchasing a ticket, or submitting a congratulatory ad—means the world to me. Thank you for being part of my village and for uplifting me with your love and encouragement.

With warmest regards,

2026 Debutante
Les Mères et Débutantes Club of Greater Lansing
